This workshop will start by defining a strategy, and the difference between a corporate strategy and a business strategy. We will talk about the industry life-cycle and discuss the macro-level factors.
Next, the workshop will dig into strategy tools: Market Analysis, SWOT Analysis, Porter’s 5 Forces and Segmentation Analysis. We will talk about competitive advantage strategies, marketing strategies for pioneers and followers, formulating corporate-level strategies and types of strategic relationships and alliances.
This workshop will also address various organizational designs, and designing best-fit structures. We will close with characteristics of good CEOs and offer a self examination checklist.
